Description

PK 104-29.1, also designated as Jones 1, was discovered by Rebecca Jones in 1941 on photo plates of Harvard University. Two years earlier, along with Richard M. Emberson, she discovered another planetary nebula, Jones-Emberson 1, PK 106+31.1, the Headphone Nebula in Lynx. Jones 1 is located in Pegasus and is about 2500 light years away.  At 320 arcseconds of angular diameter, which makes it about 3.8 light years wide.
